Piñon Valley Elementary is located at the foot of Cheyenne Mountain in the southwestern part of Colorado Springs, Colorado. We are within a mile of NORAD and Fort Carson Army Base

Important information regarding Track & Field Day

Due to the construction at the high school, there is NO parking at CMHS so the district will be using buses. ALL students, teachers & volunteers (parents) will ride the bus to & from the stadium. 

PVE will be picked up at 8:00 am and will depart CMHS for PVE at 1:30 pm.


The Cheyenne Mountain School District is seeking interested volunteers to serve on the District Accountability and Accreditation Committee beginning with the 2016-2017 school year.  Available positions include:


Non-Parent Taxpayer (2-year term)

Parent-at-Large (2-year term)

Parent-at-Large (1-year term)

Vice-Chairperson (1-year term)

Chairperson (1-year term)
