We are excited to invite you to our first Family Awareness Network (FAN) event of the school year, an evening created to support and engage our parent community as we work together to foster the growth of thriving, resilient youth.
This year’s DAAC Parent Survey, like the surveys in 2023 and 2024, made it clear that families want more support in building resilience, promoting balance, and ensuring that our students are equipped to navigate today’s challenges with confidence and well-being. In response to what you have told us, FAN is proud to host:
“Building Resilience Through the Power of Everyday Choices: Choosing Healthy Habits to Thrive”
This interactive session will feature Nicole Weis, MA, LPC, LAC, a dynamic speaker and Director of Healing and Community Programs at the Lyda Hill Institute for Human Resilience at UCCS. Nicole brings deep expertise in resilience and self-efficacy, empowering families and students to make intentional choices that foster strength and balance in their daily lives.
